The Age of Aquarius

剛剛看完《四十處男》(The 40 Year Old Virgin)，劇情、評論之類的網路上很多，我只是想挑我有興趣的記錄下來。

片子結尾的歌舞場面我很喜歡，歌很好聽。在Youtube上找來找去的時候，看到有人的評論：「我好愛這首歌！讓我好開心，而且準備好要去學校上課了！耶！」瞧瞧這嘻皮歌曲愛與和平的精神多偉大。



這首歌的歌名是《Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In》，或是《The Age of Aquarius》。來自音樂劇《Hair》的組曲。最早的單曲是由【The Fifth Dimension】這五人團體所發行。蟬聯1969年美國告示榜六周冠軍，並獲白金唱片。



音樂劇《Hair》是美國六零年代嬉皮文化和性解放的產物，很多劇中的音樂後來都變成代表性的反戰歌曲。而劇中描述嬉皮文化、嗑藥經驗還有全裸演出，在當時造成許多正反面不ㄧ的評價。不過因為是當時第一部用搖滾樂寫成的音樂劇，所以音樂劇發展過程中占有重要地位。電影版的《Hair》也在1979年發行。





歌詞的精神是在講，根據占星術，相信二十世紀末整個世界將進入水瓶座時代，愛的、光明的、人性的時代，(實在有夠嬉皮的)。不過照天文學來看，所謂的水瓶座時代的來臨要直到西元2654年。
